Thank you Stephen for your very kind comments. It is truly a blessing to receive such encouragement from those who read this blog. I am so thankful that the Holy Spirit is leading you to preach on these subjects. What a privilege it is to be allowed to proclaim the truths of God's word and to share the wonder of contemplating even the tiniest portion of His infinitely beautiful essence!

To answer your question: yes, I do address the subjects of omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence — in fact they are the major subject in Basics 18 on this same website. Please check this lesson out — I'd love to get your feedback on it — and any of the rest of the lessons I have posted on Christ Report.

Dear Friend of God,,,what an excellent exhortation on God's Sovereignty,,,the clearest, most simplified, yet deep discourse on the subject I have ever read. And it comes at exactly the right time by God's Providence (which is another subject I would love for you to share). I have been invited for 3 days of ministry at a local assembly and the Holy Spirit has been leading me to preach on these very subjects,,,Sovereignty, Providence, and Free Will,,,well, needless to say, when I heard this at first I felt very overwhelmed, but then I removed myself from the equation of trying to minister these Truths, and found peace and rest knowing the Holy Spirit would be revealing these things, not me.
Also, been led to begin another 3 day series on the Lord's Omnipresence, Omnipotence, and Omniscience,,,would love to read any materials you have on these,,,I am a firm believer we are created with a spirit, soul and body, thereby we are justified, sanctified, soon to be glorified,,,all 3 of these line up with your revelation on the 3 wills of God,,,,Bless you, sir,,,,LoveAbove,,,Stephen You can email me any further lessons at trussellstephen@yahoo.com

Hi Margaret! If you are referring to what I believe you are, I think your question is a very good one. My last point in the article had to do with Jesus experiencing the pain of His sacrifice for all eternity, because of the fact that He is truly God, and therefore omniscient. Because He is omniscient He is intimately aware of all events past, present and future, including His own suffering on the cross. Jesus the man died on the cross, paying the penalty for sin, in the realm of Time. But resurrected Jesus lives in Eternity, where past, present, and future have no meaning, especially to omniscient God, which Jesus is. This is why I think the suffering He experienced on the cross is as real to Him in eternity as when He experienced it in time.

Now it is true that among His last words on the cross was the statement "It is finished!" The Greek word there is TETELESTAI, literally meaning "FINISHED!" Most theologians agree that Jesus was referring here to His mission to take the sins of the world upon Himself and pay the Divine penalty for the sins of mankind for all time. I don't think it meant that after Jesus finished paying the penalty He was saying, "Thank God THAT'S over!"

Another way to look at it is this: Many people understandably question how a loving God can sentence unbelievers to an pain-filled eternity in the Lake of Fire. I think the notion of Jesus' eternally felt pain answers that paradox. Jesus paid the penalty for sin–death–and the reality of that painful death on the cross is eternally fresh and real to Him. Since He was willing to pay that eternal penalty for mankind, is it not just that those who reject His provision for their eternal life should themselves experience eternal pain? Since they refused Jesus' offer to suffer in their place, what else is left for them except eternal suffering?

For what it's worth, there are many who do not like my conclusions in this matter–my dear wife is among them. We have had several spirited discussions about this. But I stand by my convictions. And if my explanation doesn't satisfactorily answer your question, we can always agree to disagree. Christian love allows that.

Dear brother John, I am Zeshan, a Christian college student from Pakistan. I came came to this blog looking for my spiritual food, and started reading your articles. I started from " Jesus Controls History" and hopefully read one article a day. Although my understanding of the English language is not enough to fully understand these amazing teaching. I was wondering why don't you get these articles translated in other languages, like in Urdu so young Christians like me can read in their own language and come to Jesus Christ. God has blessed you a lot with such teachings why don't you share this gift with people like me who need to study more of this teaching. Please think about it and ask God so you your articles can reach out to youth in Pakistan. with regards.

“A person cannot be “filled” or controlled by the Holy Spirit when he is in a carnal state. This means that his prayers will not be heard, he will make the wrong decisions in life and he can expect discipline from God.

Many well meaning Christians pray for things for the right reason but their prayers are not heard for the simple reason that they have unconfessed sin in their lives. ”

If someone has a past sin unconfessed, the Holy Spirit cannot be in them, and their prayers will not be answered? That doesn’t make sense to me at all! I could have one sin unconfessed from months/years ago, which would be totally forgotten, and because of it my prayers will never be heard?
