The LORD is my shepherd;

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. I shall not want.

“ But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”( Philippians 4:19)

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”(Isaiah 26:3-4)

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

“To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” (Luke 1:79)

He restoreth my soul:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (John 16:13)

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” ( Isaiah 41:10)

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side. (Psalms 71:21)

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.” (Psalms 110:1-2)

Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. “(Ephesians 3:18-21)

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

“For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear (trust) him from generation to generation.” (Luke 1: 49-50)

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”

Being Thankful

Some people are thankful for the blessings they receive from God. Some are not thankful at all. However, the Bible instructs Christians to be thankful for all things, good and bad, because even the bad things bring us closer to God.

In everything, give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Thessalonians 5:18

People often find it difficult to give thanks for suffering and discipline in their lives but without a taste of evil intruding in our lives, we would never be able to appreciate the magnificent character of a good God. This also teaches us how to use our faith, which is necessary to please Him.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6

Suffering and faith go hand in hand. Faith is not only a belief; it is acting upon that belief and by so doing we please God. God can turn cursing and suffering into a blessing for the Christian who is truly thankful.

"O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth forever." Psalm 136:2"

"Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare." Psalm 75:1

"To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee forever." Psalm 30:12

"Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High" Psalm 50:14

"Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise." Psalm 106:47

When you sit down for your thanksgiving dinner remember to give thanks not only for the food but also for all things. For the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ every day, every moment is Thanksgiving.

"Today, Wired.co.uk is running a story, ‘Cold fusion rears its head as "E-Cat" research promises to change the world.’ It gives an overview of the technology that claims to fuse hydrogen and nickel into copper, with no radioactive by-products, to produce copious amounts of heat, inexpensively, with a 1 megawatt plant scheduled to come on line later this month. Apparently, Wired was not aware that today is a big test in Italy by scientists from around the world, who will be observing the technology in operation, including self-looped mode. A real-time update page has been set up at PESWiki, which has been a primary news provider of this technology since it was announced last January."

Wired’s article is remarkably optimistic. I’d love for this to be true, but many decades of scientific-looking free-energy machine scams make it hard to be other than cynical; the claim of a secret catalyst which "can be produced at low cost," controlled-access for outside observers, the lack of published science to explain the claimed effect, and skepticism even from the free-energy world — along with a raft of pro-E-Cat websites registered anonymously earlier this year — all make it sound like this follows the marketing style of previous "over unity" / perpetual motion machines. I invite Andrea Rossi to take part in a Slashdot interview, if he’s willing to answer readers’ questions about his claims.

While thinking about this, I personally have no clue if this is real or not. It seems to have some attention and I believe it’s possible. Some at Nasa, DoJ, etc are looking at this as it could be real.  What caught my eye more than anything else is this is coming out of Italy, you know that little country where Rome is.

The implications a device like this could have are mind boggling. For one, this would be a thing of Europe, a power grab perhaps? The USA is still very much involved with Natural gas and Oil production and use. Something like this E-Cat could change all that.  Personally I could see the falling America handing back the super power keys to the United States of Europe. Perhaps it takes a device like this to do such a thing.

I could be completely wrong, but this news is rather unsettling that publicly Israel turned to Greece rather than the USA. Perhaps Mr. Netanyahu is tired of Obama’s games? I would be. Obama’s polices with Israel and the treatment of Netanyahu by Obama absolutely disgust me.
